General software for the Microsoft Windows operating system. Many of these applications were designed as there were times when working on other user's computers where I required information / tools but I did not want to install major applications to
their machine. They can be run off memory sticks, CD / DVD's and even floppy disks if required, although an automated setup procedure is included which registers the install with the "Add/Remove" control panel applet for easy removal. All applications
below do not use the Registry and require minimal system resources (memory / hard drive space.

G.I.F.T. Booter

G.I.F.T. Booter is an application to create graphical "auto run" menus for CD's / DVD's. Any bitmap, GIF or JPG file can be used, and hotspots can be defined to perform actions when a region of the image is clicked on. It provides
functions to access the MS Windows shell so that any file type registered with the user's operating system can be activated automatically, and also includes several special codes for items such as "minimise", "maximise / restore", and "Browse CD with
Explorer".

G.I.F.T. CD Lister

G.I.F.T. CD Lister works in the background to record the contents (files / folders) when a CD / DVD is inserted into a drive which allows files located on removable media to be cataloged. It stores the file details under the volume name of the CD /
DVD, and includes three user definable fields which can be used to record the physical location where the media is stored. As all of the attributes of the files / folders are also stored, it can be locate the latest version of a specific file.

G.I.F.T. Font is an application to manage and view groups of True Type Font files without having to install them into the MS Windows operating system.
There are six main panels with three being devoted to the location of fonts / font groups, two devoted to viewing the selected in various manners, and one for setting the options / preferences.
